Magical Bridge (copy)

People with disabilities constitute the nation’s largest minority group. Over 10,000 individuals in Palo Alto have a disability and none of our public parks fully meet their needs.

Friends of the Magical Bridge, a project of Friends of the Palo Alto Parks non-profit organization, has secured land and designs for building the nation’s first fully inclusive public playground designed specifically for the disabled, right here in Palo Alto.

This innovative park will address the needs of not only the physically disabled, but those with cognitive and sensory disorders as well. We are proud to support this enriching and inclusive project that will bridge the gap between those with disabilities and those without, making it possible for all members of our community to play together.
